Christian Winstead

Service & Sales Manager

Started October 1997

Chris has 25+ years of scale experience, all at Mid-State Scale Company. Chris started his career as a technicians apprentice when he was 22 years old. His scale experience ranges from sales, large capacity installations, customer service to technical support. If you need anything in the weighing industry he is the man you need to speak to.

Chris is very family oriented and we have been fortunate to see his family grow over the years with us. He has two sons Mike and Jonny, and a daughter, Schuyler. His children and wife are all part of our large and growing family. When asked what his fondest memory of the company is, Chris stated, “I was only 6 months into my apprenticeship when my wife was bed ridden at Brandon Hospital one week before my son Jonny was born. I had no vacation time and couldn’t afford to be out of work. I showed up to work the next day and Bob Wildes asked, “What are you doing here?” Without asking Bob gave me all the paid vacation time I needed to be with my wife and family. At that moment I understood the character of the man I was working for.” Chris has spent his years with Mid-State Scale Company living up to the same standard.
